Cleaning SureFlap

We recommend that you clean your SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap regularly using a damp cloth.  After cleaning, leave your SureFlap for approximately 10 seconds before normal operation resumes.

This video shows you how to upgrade older versions of the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap using the SureFlap Front Frame Upgrade Kit.  The kit is compatible with all versions of the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap and enables you to take advantage of recent improvements to the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap including the integrated draft excluder, quieter closing lock and rotary manual lock.  Fitting can usually be completed within 20  minutes.

Replacing the door of your SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap only takes a few minutes.  All you need to do is arm yourself with a Phillips head screwdriver and watch this video for step-by-step instructions.

Occasionally it may necessary to replace the catch and spring in order to prolong the life of your SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap.  This video walks you through each stage of this quick replacement process.
